The Tyumen region oil and gas complex brings in decisive contribution into uninterrupted supplies of domestic and export deliveries. 67% of oil and 91% of natural gas of all Russian-wide capacity is produced in the region. The major trend of a new stage of development of the oil and gas industry in the region is establishing manufactures on raw material high-level processing, namely oil products release and petrochemical production.
One of the forms of cooperation between the regional authorities and oil-producing companies is holding an annual academic and research forum as part of the exhibition «Oil and Gas. Fuel and Energy Complex». Under this forum oil and gas complex development prospects, advanced technologies, design, innovation, research and development projects are discussed.
Annually the exhibition gathers up to 250 exhibitors; it is accompanied with a rich business program and wide information support. In 2010 nearly 5,5 thousand directors and specialists of field and related companies from Germany, Japan and 50 cities of Russia visited the exhibition.
